Upcycled Purse

As seen in the last post, here is the purse I made for my friend Olly from Wollies.

It's made from plastic bags and vintage pillowcases. A nice bit of eco-friendly craft.

I'll be making some more of these purses soon. If you are interested in owning one let me know!

I'm off to Ireland for a few days and I'm fairly sure I won't have internet access. So have a good week and I will finally show you those new knickers when I'm back!

Thank you all for your lovely comments.
The plastic bags are the outside of the purse. They are fused together to make a fairly flexible and waterproof material. It's good for purses which hang around at the bottom of handbags a lot!

Marta: I will definitely show you some time. If not search on you tube for a tutorial, there should be loads.

I felt really inspired after making this and pleased with the outcome. I have some mini purse frames so I will be making more soon!
